If you left the item in the car you rented from TopRent car rental company, we will pick it up and store it for at least one month. During that time, you should contact the managers to arrange for pick up. Please double check the care before returning it and make sure you’re not leaving sunglasses, a computer, a phone, clothes, shoes, or even ice-skates. All these and many more other items have been found in the trunks and under the car seats of the rental cars, and successfully returned to the owners.
First of all – thank you for deciding to go on a trip with a rental car from TopRent. And we’d recommend to take some time to get acquainted with the car you will be using:
- Check the type of fuel type: it will be stated in the contract, marked on the key fob and indicated on the cap of the fuel tank.
- Learn how to control the headlights and parking brake, how to turn on the radio.
- Adjust seats, mirrors, steering wheel position.
- You can take photos of the car before picking it up and once again before returning it, so that at the end of the car rental period there are no misunderstandings about the condition of the rented car.
- Fasten your seat belt and we wish you a safe and pleasant trip!
We understand your need to travel with family and children and thus we want to make sure your trips are safe, so we can offer child car seats according to the age: infant car seat for babies up to one year (or 13 kg), car seat for children from 1 to 4 years (or from 9 to 18 kg) and booster seat for children from 4 to 12 years. You will be able to choose the seats at the time of booking, in the third step “Choose accessories”. If you need two of the same seats, choose one and write in the comments section that you need a second of the same seat and we will provide it free of charge for the entire car rental period.
The credit card is not required to make online booking. You will only pay for the rental car when you pick up the car. We are not charging for anything in advance and thus the credit card details are not needed for booking a rental car online. Book your car now.
If your plans have changed unexpectedly and you no longer need the car rental service, you can cancel your reservation free of charge at any time. The sooner you do this, the better, but even the last minute cancellation is free of charge. Book your car now.
It’s very simple to return a rental car before an early flight: arrive at Vilnius Airport VNO, Kaunas Airport KUN, Palanga Airport PLQ or Riga Airport RIX. Find the same parking lot from which you picked up rental car, lock the car and leave it there. All parking lots at the airport have a built-in car number recognition system that scans the car plate of the rental car and lifts the gate. Parking for the rental cars is free of charge. Please lock the car before leaving and put the car key in the safe box, which you will find at the car rental office. We understand that things happen in life that we cannot plan for. Congestion on the road, an unexpectedly blocked road, or a ferry leaving too late can prolong the journey and you may not be able to return the car at the time specified in the car rent contract. If it happens, please inform the car rental manager as soon as possible by phone +371 28 66 00 22. We apply a one-hour tolerance limit to our customers, which means that after notifying the manager, you will be able to return the car free of charge one hour later than specified in the contract.
It’s quick and easy to extend the car rent, you just need to book online the same car that you’re currently driving. The other way to extend the rent is to call our managers (+370 616 55336).
Your reserved car will be waiting for you even if your flight is delayed. Car rental managers working at Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga airports are always monitoring flight information and will be waiting for you, even if you arrive later. Please provide the flight number when booking online, as it makes the car rental process smoother. If you have already made the reservation, but haven’t added the flight number, you can provide it later by phone or email.
Car pick-up is 24/7 at airport locations. Our manager will be waiting for you at our office on agreed time (10€ additional fee of delivery outside working hours will be added if the reservation is after 10:00 PM).
The security deposit will be reserved on your credit card. After 7-14 days (counting from the first day of your rent) the reservation will be automatically released by the bank.
Usually, most of the cars are in our car park. However the company reserves the right to change your selected car to the same sized or a bigger one. For example, if you have chosen Ford Fiesta, which is economy-class car and we have confirmed your reservation, but Ford Fiesta is not available at that moment, we would rent you VW Polo which is also economy-class car.
To rent a car You must have a valid driver license, identity document (such as passport, identity card), valid credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, EuroCard) and a reservation number.
